"Portrait of a Killer"
I've been walking down many alley ways these days as they are the best place to locate these random pieces of art. Somewhere out there, people are making stencils of random images and spray painting them all over the city. What I like about this new movement more than the images themselves, are where they are placed. I've seen stencils on street signs, concrete benches, garbage bins, and much more. Whatever the canvas, it's almost always subtle and not obvious to the world.
This specific image is very creepy. It was located in an alley right next to an image of Marilyn Monroe. I have no idea who this is or if it's even supposed to be someone famous. It could be an original piece by the artist. I thought it looked like Ed Gein who was the serial killer that inspired the characters of Norman Bates, Leather Face, and Hannibal Lector.
