Fluorescent Light

"Golden Arches"

I took this photo yesterday while I was in a Tim Hortons. While waiting for the bathroom, I looked up to see these fluorescent light. I originally found it interesting because of the shape of the bulbs. It was only after the fact that the McDonald's famous arch popped out at me.

I really like this one. It's been a while since I got a good light shot and I'm quite happy to put this one next to the others.

Movie Review Phrases

This might just be lame and stupid but I had the urge to do it any way. I've divided my exhibition into three categories: Black and White, Photoshop, and iPhone photos. I wanted to write brief little blurbs about each of them but while doing so I felt like I was saying too much. I thought I'd cut it down to a sentence. Then came the idea to treat it like movie reviews. I don't know how I feel about it. I just know I had to do it.

Untitled

This image was created very quickly. Playing around with an abandoned project, I produced this. I like it.

A Burnt Bulb

This is something I have been working on for the last few weeks. It got to this point pretty quickly but since then, no development. I keep opening it up hoping to have the answer as to how to fix it but I still have no idea what to do. As always I have no idea what it is or what it wants to be. All I know is that I'm beyond frustrated with it.

Bloodshot

I always intended for this image to be red. In the process, the red wasn't working which was why I switched to green. But I kept thinking about red. So I'm just testing this out. I don't know which one I'll end up printing for the show... perhaps one...perhaps both.
