"A Bruised Heart"

This image presented itself to me this morning during breakfast. I grabbed the last apple only to notice this incredibly large bruise on the corner of it. I immediately got a knife and cut off the corner. Without intention, I had cut something that resembled a heart. With a bruised heart in front of me, I reached for my iPhone. I couldn't let the idea pass me by so I took a couple shots of it.

I had to experiment with it all day to achieve a mild sense of satisfaction. My first instinct was to make the heart red but blue felt better.

My general feeling for it is good, not great. I know I can do better.

It would appear that my word phase has come back. This is third word (excuse the rhyme) this week.

The thing that I'm most interested in is the fact that they are some of the most vibrant images I've created. I'm using more color than I usually care for.

Twisted: Finished?

This piece was created in a week of interesting events. I had been working on it for five days straight when my computer crashed and deleted the file entirely. After several failed google attempts to rectify the situation, I decided to shrug it off and start again. Within a few hours I got here...

This was three different words before I landed on "Twisted". To sum up, I started wanting to make a product spoof from "Twizzler's.

I'm not sure if there if it is finished as I feel like something's missing.

I am very close though.
