Lamp Turned Flower
Combining my recent interest in lights and circles, this image creates the shape of a dandelion. Flower or weed, the dandelion represents childhood purity (to me anyways).

Top of the Pop
"Soda-Licious"
This is my favorite picture in a while. This combines my fascination with circles and pop cans in a very unique way.
However I must say that I don't really like pop. I used to drink a lot of it, specifically Nestea and Red Bull, but these days it's quite rare. The only pop I will buy is Ginger Ale (Canada Dry not Schweppes) because it's an all purpose pop. It's tasty and good for a sore stomach.

My Oreo McFlurry
"Daylight Come"
I obsessed with circles right now. I don't know why but I find them simply compelling. I'm coming up with one a day, sometimes two... crazy. When I finished this particular one I kept thinking of one thing which was a logo that appeared before one of my favorite movies. If you haven't already guessed, it's the Geffen logo at the start of Beetlejuice. As the movie begins and we hear the banana boat song, we see this white planet turn with the letter "G" engraved into it. It has nothing to do with the movie but that's all I see when I look at this image.

The Bottom of My Cup
I was at a bridal shower today and the first thing I was given as I entered the tent was a strawberry daquri. Not finishing it, the remaining portion melted to a warm liquid in the plastic cup. As I have been very interested in the circular shape lately ("Dark Side of the Moon" and "Day in the Sun") I decided to add this to the collection. Initially I was frustrated because I could not center it in the frame as I had done previously. But then I thought it would be just as interesting drifting away from the center point. Thankfully the lines of the cup give the negative space an interesting look. Plus those drips outside of the circle are the cherry ontop. I love that it looks like the solar system.
