Old Couple In The Rain

Today was an unexpected day off work. Having found this out after getting ready, I decided to go out anyways. I got a coffee and went to the AMC for a morning movie. For only $6, I got to see a movie by myself with no annoying people in sight. It was wonderful.

After my movie, I walked around the mall where I bought a new pair of shoes and a couple tops. On my walk home from the mall, it started to pour. Soaking and hungry, I ducked into Mr. Sub. I took a seat by the window and just watched the people walking in the rain.

That was when I saw this couple waiting to cross the street. I thought they looked so cute under their giant umbrella. I only had a quick second to get a shot of them without anyone else crossing the street.

A Mannequin's Arm

This is the first thing I have created using my iPhone. The original photo was taken in a department store using the "Shake It" application. I took the picture of the arm and ran it through the app twice in order to get the matted look.

Withdrawl

It has been a week since I've created anything for myself and it feels like an eternity. This morning I was thinking how long it has been since I've felt that amazing feeling of creation but really it has only been a week. "Monster's Eye" was posted exactly a week today but the feeling I got from that picture was not even close to what I felt when "Retro Pepsi" was completed. So perhaps that is why I'm itching for another dose of the creative drug.
